A German gold-mounted agate and mother-of-pearl scent casket, probably Berlin circa 1760

square, applied with gold-framed agate cartouches over tinted mother-of-pearl ground, putto heads at the angles, the interior fitted with gold beaker, gold funnel, and four gold-capped glass scent bottles, the caps chased with squirrels and birds, with later French control marks, inside lid fitted with a mirror.
