Condition

Canvas has been relined. Paint surface has been well retained and detail remains very good throughout. Under a slightly dirty varnish, however painting is quite presentable in its present state. Ultraviolet light reveals some retouches to rocks at lower right and some possible reworking in some areas of clouds. In a carved and giltwood frame.
