- height of each 39 in.; width 14 in.
- 99 cm; 35.5 cm
each with a rectangular plate within a giltwood border with a basket-flower and scrolling cresting and a further foliate base.
Condition
Old minor marks and chippings to the gilding. With old worm to the carved surfaces particularly the foliate detail. The back has been reinforced. With some minor restorations to the carving. The bottom sections with a metal ring, suggesting a previous mark for a candle arm. Some traces of glue to the sides particularly along the foliate carving. In otherwise good condition.
