Description
- diameter 10 1/8 in.
- 25.8 cm
in Meissen style, each molded with a foliate border reserved with four cartouches enclosing birds in branches about a central colorful flower spray, impressed shield mark and date codes 854 and 864, and numerals 13 or 39. Two cracked, some restored rim chips.
Condition
All with minor scratching in the center, minor stacking wear, and slight wear to the gilding on the rim edge from use. Three otherwise OK. One with a shallow 3/4-inch (1.8-cm.) footrim chip; and one with two adjacent footrim chips: ¾ and 5/8 inches (2.3 and 1.6 cm.). One with a 1 ½-inch (3.8-cm.) restored chip on the edge at 2 o'clock. One with a 5/8-inch (1.7-cm.) restored chip at 7 o'clock. One with a 1-inch (1.7-cm.) restored chip at 10:30 o'clock. One with a 1/8-inch (3-mm.) chip on the upper edge at 12:30. One OK other than a slightly yellowed area along the edge from 6 up to 4 o'clock. One plate has a long hair crack to the center, one plate has a short hair crack to the center
