    Jean Avisse (1723-1796), maître in 1745 (the side chairs)
  • height of armchairs 37 1/2 in., width 27 1/2 in.; height of side chairs 36 in., width 20 in.
  • 94 cm, 70 cm; 91.5 cm, 51 cm
comprising two armchairs and eight side chairs.

Condition

Surface marks, rubbing and chipping to the paint. The paint has been for the most part stripped. Some legs possibly replaced. Restoration to the leg of one armchair.
