the hinged shaped rectangular top enclosing a baize-lined surface raised on acanthus carved cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet. Restorations.

Condition

Overall restored condition, closed top with some horizontal age and stress cracks, the frieze with some shrinkage to veneers and with some vertical age cracks, the baize lined top later, slight lifting to veneer of back frieze, hinge of back gate leg replaced, some minor chips and wear to carving overall, overall with some old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises consistent with age and use. Underside with old indistinct chalked inscription
