the top with two serpentine leaves above a pierced frieze on slender legs joined by conforming stretchers and with pad toes. Alterations and replacements to under-framing, repaired breaks to legs and stretchers.

Condition

Overall restored condition, one drop-leaf slightly warped, the under-framing later, leg of one gate leg with repaired break at juncture with base of columnar leg and notched block at stretcher, stretcher with repaired break with two screws at notched block, end stretchers re-glued at joins with legs, the other gate-leg with loose block to hinge, all feet pieced and with some inpainting, overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises consistent with age and use.
