Description

  • width 5 3/8 in.
  • 13.7 cm
emblematic of 'Water,' and similarly decorated to the preceding plate with 'The Triumph of Galatea,' but the gilt-edged rim bordered with a narrow grisaille-edged gilt band.  Some wear.

Condition

Wear to enamels from use, gilding almost completely worn from rim edge, a ¾ inch haircrack on rim at 9:30.
