Description

  • diameters 3 and 4 1/2 in.
  • 7.6 and 11.5 cm
emblematic of 'Fire,' and decorated en suite with the preceding teapot.  The saucer with small hair cracks.

Condition

Teabowl with a 1mm chip above the flying cupid's head, two 1mm chips over the putto to left of fire in the background, gilding on rim edge worn; the saucer with a 1/4-inch haircrack on the rim at 3:00, and another at 5:30, a third haircrack at 6:30, a fourth at 7:00, two more at 12:00, 1mm chip at 8:00 on outer edge.
