A teabowl and saucer depicting this scene within a different border are illustrated by Jörg 1989, p. 212, no. 82; and a saucer of that type is illustrated by Hervouët and Bruneau, p. 176, no. 7.104; and by Howard and Ayers, Vol. II, p. 365, no. 357, who illustrate the W. Martin-Hurst Collection example also illustrated by Williamson, pl. XLII (top, right), which was in the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Rafi Y. Mottahedeh, sold in these rooms on January 30, 1985, lot 221. A saucer identical to the present example was sold at Sotheby's in London on November 19, 1985, lot 135.
