Description
- diameter 15 1/4 in.
- 38.7 cm
painted in the center with the elaborately mantled arms and crest of Sayer of Worsall quartering Woodhouse and Brooke within a gilt spearhead-and-dot border around the well and a cell diaper border on the cavetto reserved with four panels of fruit alternating with large stylized blossoms, the top of the rim with the crest surrounded by three sprays of fruit, foliage and flowers and alternating with small fruit vignettes within a floral and precious object border around the rim. Some small chips under the rim edge.
