- A 'Botanic' coal scuttle
- stamped 'PP 186919'
- 56cm. high;
- 1ft 10in.,
copper and wrought iron, modelled as a foliate form, with en suite wooden-handled shovel and detachable liner
Condition
An unusual piece of good overall appearance. Minor old marks, scratches and dents consistent with age and use. Liner with extensive signs of use, but still functional. Handle of scoop is slightly loose and has been split and reglued. Section of timber lacking to the handle near the mount. The scoop itself has been reriveted to the handle and is extensively marked consistent with age and use. A charming piece ready for display and use.
