the salver shaped circular with gadrooned rim, engraved with arms within a rococo cartouche and ribbon-tied floral sprays, raised on four leaf-capped scroll feet, marked on underside, by Richard Rugg, London, 1769; the jug of baluster form with shaped rim, the top portion fluted and the lower half gadrooned, engraved with initials JN, beaded leaf-capped scroll handle, marked on base, by Francis Butty & Nicholas Dumee, London, 1770

salver with later arms, but cartouche is contemporary, jug with a little overall wear, good condition
