the base raised on four paw feet, with reeded rim and acanthus scroll handles, border chased with guilloche band centered by flowerheads, domed center with patera of stiff leaves radiating from a flower, the conforming basket with openwork sides and bifurcated reeded loop handles terminating in acanthus, glass liner, marked on bases, and with French import marks for 1864-1893
