the rouned rectangular teapot partly quilted and chased with a band of double shells and lotus blossoms linked by scrolls, the spout with acanthus base and topped by an anthemion, handle springing from twin serpent tails, lid crested, fully marked and with French control mark for 1822-38; the second course dish shaped circular with gadrooned rim, the border engraved with arms and matching crest with foliate mantles, marked on base and stamped STORR & MORTIMER, numbered 76 and with scratch weight No. 1-27"3
