oval, decorated with translucent lime green enamel over engine-turned dotted ground, borders of green enameled leaves with white berries separated by simulated pearls, the cover set with a grisaille miniature of Adonis parting from Venus, marked M&P crowned between two incuse leaf motifs; in fitted gilt-tooled leather case
