circular, the mother-of-pearl engine-turned and mounted en cage with pilasters and waved gold borders, shellwork thumbpiece, the interior of the cover mounted under glass with a gouache miniature of a nobleman wearing the sash and star of the Danish Order of the Elephant, possibly one of the royal princes; apparently unmarked
