Condition
STRUCTURE
The board is undulating. There are three small holes along the uppper edge and one to the lower left corner. Wear to the corners and along the edges of the board.
PAINT SURFACE
There is a small line of craquelure and some paint lifting to the area above the girl. Also two small patches of bitumen separation, upper centre and lower right.
ULTRAVIOLET
UV light reveals scattered spots of retouching throughout under an uneven varnish.
FRAME
Held in a decorative gilded composite frame; under glass and unexamined out of frame.
