Condition
The panel is sound. There is some minor frame abrasion visible at the extreme edges. There is a suggestion of a surface scratch to the under belly of the spaniel, approximately 3 inches in length. There is surface dirt and a discoloured, uneven varnish to the work which would benefit from a light clean. Otherwise in good condition. Ultraviolet light reveals two very minor flecks of retouching to the sky, one upper left and one upper right. Held in a simple gold painted frame in fair condition.
