Condition
STRUCTURE
The canvas appears to be original with a backboard fixed to the reverse of the frame.
PAINT SURFACE
There are scattered patches of minor paint separation to the rocks in the foreground and to the grass area beneath the castle. Otherwise in good condition.
ULTRAVIOLET
UV light reveals scattered specks of retouching across the sky, a patch to the sea at the upper left of the castle and further scattered spots elsewhere.

Held in a decorative gilded composite frame.
