Original canvas.
PAINT SURFACE
There is a small pinhole to each corner. Scattered craquelure, particularly along the upper horizontal stretcher. Otherwise in good condition.
ULTRAVIOLET
UV light reveals a suggestion of retouching to the female figure's dress.
FRAME
Held in a decorative gilded composite frame with some loss to the moulding at the lower edge.
