Condition
Original canvas. There is a stretcher mark running along the upper border and some minor scattered craquelure. Otherwise this is in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals scattered spots of retouching to the hair of the figures and a couple of minor spots to the faces and to the background just above the figures. Held in a decorative gilded composite frame.
