Description

  • width: 11cm, 4 1/4 in
rectangular with three compartments, the surface enamelled in translucent pink over moirĂ© engine-turning, the lids applied with three-colour gold floral festoons tied with ruby-set ribbons within two-colour gold laurel bands, the interior containing two original gold implements, diamond-set thumbpieces, in original fitted case, 56 and 88 standards

Condition

There is a narrow enamel loss, approx. 1.5cm long, down to the metal at lower front left edge. The sides with small enamel losses. The wood retailer's case is broken at the hinges. Otherwise in good order.
