Description

  • length: 75cm, 29½in blade
with curved fullered blade etched with foliage and a brief inscription, silver hilt of characteristic form chased with scrolling patterns of foliage on a recessed ground enriched with niello and set within a beadwork frame, in its leather covered wooden scabbard with large shaped silver mounts en suite including two suspension bands with their rings and the inner face decorated with sprays of niello foliage

Condition

Generally good condition with minor areas of wear. The scabbard has one crack throught the leather at the chape.
