Description

  • closed: 20.5 by 13.5cm., 8 by 5 1/4 in; open: 20.5 by 25cm., 8 by 9 3/4 in.
centred with Christ Enthroned, flanked to the left with Saint Basil the Great and on the right with the prophet Saint Anna, the doors and back decorated with fine scrolling flowers, the reverse mounted with a plaque inscribed in Cyrillic: 1842-1902 / From Church Servants and the Head Priest of the Izhvesk Cathedral  

Condition

There are dents to the bottom of the icon and light surface scratches to the base consistent with age and use. We would advise prospective buyers to view.
