the front depicting a peasant man looking out of the window of a teremok, the openwork body applied on both sides with trompe l'oeil embroidered linen towels which are engraved with the monogram C.K. and dated 6th September 1878-1888, on four raised feet, 84 standard

There are losses to the enamel in places and in particular to the blue enamel bands on the handle. The openwork is damaged to the left of the handle and there are sections missing from the rim of the base. One of the feet is dented and the tip of the handle is bent. There is restoration to the lower part of the handle. This is a very rare and unusual piece.
