Description
- height: 14cm., 5 1/2 in
the lobed body and domed lid finely painted with daisies and wild flowers in Chinoiserie style, the handle chased with the head of a mythical beast, 84 standard
Condition
The enamel pineapple motif on the lid under the swing handle is damaged, lacking enamel where the handle strikes the lid. One of the yellow leaves on the lid is lacking enamel. The silver gilt is tarnished a little on the body of the caddy but the enamel appears to be largely in good condition.
UV light reveals some areas of restoration to the enamel on the cover but the body appears to be in good condition.
