rounded rectangular, entirely bound in original leather, the slip with a curved gold rim chased with bands of intertwined laurel trails and applied to four sides with cabochon sapphires encircled by laurel wreaths, marked Fabergé, with workmaster's initials and scratched inventory numbers 20602 and 2104 B, with further scratched initials in Latin GNM, 56 standard
Condition
The interior leather of both the case and the slip is slightly scuffed. There are further minor scratches on the exterior, consistent with age and use. This is a highly unusual and attractive piece in overall good condition.
