There are some very minor chips to the sharp ends of the handle at each side and minor pitting to the nephrite overall consistent with age and use, the handle is attached to the contemporary parasol. One of the small diamonds is missing, the workmaster's initials are partially shown but visible.

Ghosn, La Collection Fabergé William Kazan, Editions Dar An-Nahar, 1983, no. 127. The offered lot with a more structured T-shape differs from the more fluid forms referred to here indicating that it could be among Michael Perchin's earlier work. The marks would support this notion as the initials MP are curled corresponding with his signature pre-1895.
