of ribbed rectangular form with sapphire thumbpiece, 56 standard

Condition

The hinge is damaged at the right edge and the left side. This may have been during previous repair when soldering. There are two holes the other side of the sapphire thumbpiece. There are minor surface scratches to the case consistent with age and use.
