Condition
The canvas has been striplined. The canvas is very fine and the surface slightly dirty. There are two pinholes in the top left corner. The varnish has slightly discoloured. UV light reveals sweeping areas of retouching to the sky, to two small restored areas on the right edge, in patches along the edge, to lines on the church, to patches of the subject's clothing and in small areas surrounding the date. There are four small patches to the reverse. UNFRAMED.
