Condition
Original canvas which has been lightly glued to backing cardboard so the canvas is undulated throughout, particularly at the left and right edges, As a result there are some fine lines of craquelure. There are three patches of paint-loss, to the upper central edge, to the trees in the upper central area and to the top right corner. There is some light surface dirt and the varnish may have slightly discoloured. UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted plaster frame. Unexamined out of frame.
