Condition

The original canvas is loose on the stretcher and slightly undulated. There is a layer of discoloured varnish and surface dirt. There are fine lines of craquelure in places. UV light reveals a few minor spots of retouching. Held in a gold painted plaster frame and unexamined out of frame.
