Condition

The board appears sound. There is a light layer of surface dirt and two small chips to the paint to the lower left area. There are lines of craquelure to the impasto on the red horse and in patches throughout. There are some areas of paint shrinkage to the background. UV light reveals one minor spot of retouching to the central section. Held in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
