Condition
The canvas has been laid on board. Original canvas, the upper half of which is slightly undulated. There is a layer of light surface dirt. UV light reveals an opaque layer of uneven varnish and retouching to the top left corner, to small areas of the background and to the sitter's neck. Held in a wooden frame with plaster mouldings. Unexamined out of frame.
