An elegant example in good overall condition. Ivory with one or two short hairline cracks, as to the bridge of the nose. Hands with some visible adhesive residue to the joints with the bronze. Some minor wear to the bronze patina. Base with some minor old scratches and chips. The far end of the right side has been split and restored, as can be seen in the catalogue illustration. This piece contains ivory, which may be subject to export and import restrictions. Ivory cannot be imported into the United States.
