Condition

Original canvas which is slightly loose in the stretcher. There is a layer of light surface dirt, a few fine lines of craquelure and some abrasions above the lower edge. There is a layer of shiny varnish. UV light reveals small areas of retouching throughout. Held in a simple wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
