Condition
The original canvas has been striplined. There is a patch to the upper right visible on the reverse. The paint surface is slightly dirty and there is a layer of discoloured varnish. There are fine lines of craquelure in places and minor flecks of paintloss to the lower left corner. UV light reveals spots of retouching thruoghout. Held in a gilt period frame with some losses along the edges. Unexamined out of frame.
