Condition

Original canvas. The paint surface is slightly dirty with some small areas of light abrasion to the edges and there is a small pin-hole to the canvas below the third white sphere from the top left hand corner. There is a rectangular area of craquelure above the black circle in the centre approx. 12cm. long, with some small flecks of paintloss in places. There are some further lines of craquelure to the lower right hand portion of the work, and elsewhere, in some areas slightly raised, and a further chip of paintloss top right. UV light reveals some retouching to the top left and top right hand edges, to the centre and some further areas elsewhere. Held in a simple black painted slip frame. Unexamined out of frame.
