This painting on wood is in very healthy condition. The slight unevenness to the wood which is visible in a few places on the left side, in the upper left corner and in the lower portion on the right, all seem to be original. Roerich clearly painted on a slightly rougher piece of wood than usual. The paint layer does not appear to have been cleaned or retouched and the picture should be hung as is.
