Condition

Oil on original canvas. There is light surface dirt and light varnish in some places. Under UV certain pigments fluoresce though the surface appears untouched. Composition appears in overall very good state. Held in a modern wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.

Catalogue Note

Having graduated from the Moscow Institute of Art and Industry (formerly the Stroganov Institute) in 1982, Aleksei Sundukov joined the Union of Artists in 1986. He achieved fame after the Seventh Youth Exhibit in Moscow in 1988, where his paintings attracted the attention of critics and the press.
