Condition

Oil on original canvas. The canvas is a little dirty and covered with a layer of yellowed varnish. The canvas is slightly buckled, particularly to the lower left region. A .5cm flake of paint has been lost to the right of the right cossack's head. There is also a stained vertical line along the left-most edge of the composition. Held in a gold painted wood frame with plaster molding. Unexamined out of frame.
