cream painted and parcel-gilt wrought iron with an associated marble top, the frieze with central arrowhead motif above foliate palm leaf supports, the stretcher mounted with an openwork urn

Condition

A decorative piece of good overall appearance. The piece has been repainted and gilded. Old marks and scratches and some chips to finish in places. Fronds with a few bent leaves and one or two ungilded areas. Travertine top appears to be original, with a hairline crack running diagonally back; it has two wooden strengthening bars to the underside. Stylish and ready for display.
