painted on either side of the tureen with the arms of William Henry, 1^{st Duke of Gloucester and Edinburgh, K. G., and scattered sprigs between molded gadrooned bands and beneath colorful flower garland suspended from gilt bowknots, the cover similarly decorated. Restored.}

Both handles of the tureen have been off and restored back; there was a 1 1/2 x 1/4-in restored (made-up) chip to the rim that is now re-broken; there is a 3-in. area of old overspray to the edge of the foot, probably covering chips, as well as three additional 1/8-1/4-in. chips to the gadrooning of the foot; and some wear to the gilding around the shoulder and some wear to the enamels and gilding of the arms and flowers. The gilding of the cover's knop and around the is worn; there is some minor wear to the arms; and there is a 1-in. and 1 3/4-in. restored chip to the rim. All the restoration is old and discolored.
