Condition
This pastel is generally in an excellent state of preservation. The sheet is lined with Japan paper and appears to be trimmed all around. One tiny filled in tear at center left, about 1 inch from the left edge. Horizontal scuffing and abrasion along the bottom of sheet. The top 1 inch is a separate strip of paper, torn all along and skillfully mended. This part is obscured by the present matting. Pinholes at extreme edges. The work is attached to the mount with archival paper hinges at top.
