by Marc Louis Solon, signed L. Solon, modeled in three parts, the ovoid body decorated in white with a maiden wearing a diaphanous gown capturing butterflies pierced on a thorny branch held above her head on an olive green ground, supported on a squat baluster base with three scroll feet, printed gilt crowned globe, MINTONS and England mark, impressed MINTON and date code for 1898. Replacement metal knop, some minor wear to the gilding.
