Description

  • height 45 in.; width 5 ft. 5 1/2 in.; depth 18 in.
  • 114.5 cm; 166.5 cm; 45.5 cm
the serpentine-shaped white marble top with rounded front corners inset above three frieze drawers and above a central cupboard flanked by two glazed cupboard compartments. 

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use especially to apron and legs. There is a vertical crack behind the shaped mount centering the cupboard door. Slight tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places and some mounts will need to be re-tightened. The marble with the usual chips to edges and scratches to surface consistent with age and extensive staining throughout. There is a loss to the gilt-bronze banding of approximately 2 inches to the right hand side.
