the blue and white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters and signed PHILIPPE and raised on a shaped rectangular base adorned by cupids, the twin-train movement numbered 431 and signed J. PHILIPPE / 86 Palais Royal 67. 

Condition

Dirt and tarnishing to gilt-bronze overall. Ceramic body with minor firing defects but no apparent restoration. Putti on top lacking implement once held in his right hand. Vase will need to be strengthened to base. Bell and pedulum present but no key.
