Median folio (12 3/8 x 8 7/8 in.; 314 x 228 mm). Parts III and IV complete. Scattered stains in the last leaves, one margin repaired, a single wormhole entering text, overall a good copy. Early eighteenth-century brown morocco gilt, over reverse-bevelled wooden boards, two catchplates of rococo design, a remboƮtage, edges plain.

Provenance

At the end is a flyleaf from an earlier binding, with a Hebrew memorandum of a land transaction in Cremona, Friday, 11 Tammuz 5268 (9 June 1508), naming Samuel ben Aaron, Eleazar ben Eleazar called Zifron, and Jacob ben Mordecai Katz, called Kupin. Censors' signatures: Fra Luigi da Bologna, 1602; Giovanni Dominico Carretto, 1618
