Early eighteenth-century brown morocco gilt, over reverse-bevelled wooden boards, two catchplates of rococo design, a remboîtage, edges plain.

At the end is a flyleaf from an earlier binding, with a Hebrew memorandum of a land transaction in Cremona, Friday, 11 Tammuz 5268 (9 June 1508), naming Samuel ben Aaron, Eleazar ben Eleazar called Zifron, and Jacob ben Mordecai Katz, called Kupin.
