Provenance

Giovanni Bernardo De Rossi, 1742–1831, the first great scholar of Hebrew incunables — Jacob Georg Christian Adler, 1756–1834, Danish orientalist and government official (with a lengthy Latin inscription recording that his esteemed friend De Rossi gave him the book in Parma, 1780, and remarking on the three leaves missing because of the "Roman inquisitors"). This copy was in the Royal Library, Copenhagen (Madsen 2342), then sold by the Royal Library in or shortly after 1950, when it became a duplicate (in fact a triplicate) with the Library's en bloc purchase of Lazarus Goldschmidt's incunables (Madsen 4317).
